CTET is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education for certifying eligibility to teach in Central Government Schools (KVS, NVS, etc.) for Classes I to VIII.

Important Dates

Exam Date: July and December annually

Application Date: September-October and March-April annually

Result Date: August and January-February annually

Eligibility

Paper I (Classes 1-5): Senior Secondary (10+2) with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, OR Graduation + B.Ed. Paper II (Classes 6-8): Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed.

Total Marks: 150

Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
